LOS ANGELES
Planned for Spring 2027
- The three-day running order will be the same as in the other cities.
A day in the Academy (8:00 to 18:00)
The day is built around eight 30-minute subjects, weighted toward that day’s crane system. Each subject is 10 minutes of explanation/demo followed by 20 minutes of guided practice, then the group moves into longer open hands-on practice with instructors circulating.
Core topics covered across the day
- Safety, setup, and balancing
- Basic operation
- Telescopic moves and framing
- Orbiting and 3D Planes
- Hybrid multi-system workflows
- Troubleshooting and best practices
Coffee truck and an introduction to the equipment from 8:00, instruction from 9:00, wrap from 17:00 and the day ends at 18:00. Cranes are loaded and struck each day as part of the practice — the wrap is taught, not done for the class. Every city runs the identical three-crane setup, so the experience is the same in all three.
